Fullstack Job: Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack

Our client is seeking a Senior Software Engineer - Full Stack for a 12+ month contract in Irving, TX. Will be working on an Onsite schedule. Will be responsible for designing and building backend and frontend systems that improve customer experience, enable innovative user experiences, and increase store revenue.

Contract Duration: 12 Months

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science/Engineering/Math, or relevant experience.
• 5+ years of experience with backend frameworks (node.js, Nest.JS).
• 5+ years of solid foundation and understanding of relational and NoSQL database principles.
• 5+ years of experience with AWS Cloud Services.
• 5+ years of experience in creating API using NodeJS, Python, Java, or Go developing software solutions for real world problems (Recent experience in NodeJS required).
• 5+ years of experience with microservices or SOA Architecture and other design patterns.
• Experience working with Confluent Kafka, Kafka Streams, and Flink.
• Experience with Kubernetes for containerized application tooling and deployments.
• Experience with CI/CD including automated e2e tests with Cypress or Playwright.
• Experience with frontend frameworks: Angular, React.
• Mentorship of Junior level engineers to help make informed decisions.
• Possesses exceptional troubleshooting skills.
• Stays on the leading edge of software development tools and best practices.
• Self-directed with a start-up entrepreneur mindset.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience working with NX Workspaces/Monorepos, NX Cloud.
